International Citizen Days 2025 – Become a Volunteer

Join Denmark’s largest event for international citizens as a volunteer and be part of a dynamic and welcoming two-day experience in the heart of Copenhagen.

International Citizen Days will take place at Øksnehallen on 19–20 September 2025, offering newcomers expert talks, hands-on guidance, activities, and a curated fair to help them get off to a good start in Denmark.

Friday focuses on job and career, with talks, professional matchmaking, and workshops for job seekers, students, and accompanying partners.

Saturday highlights culture, leisure, and housing, with entertainment, kids’ activities, local association showcases, and creative workshops.

We expect between 6,000 and 7,000 guests and are looking for dedicated volunteers to help create a smooth and enjoyable experience. Volunteer roles include welcoming and registering guests, wayfinding, stage support, activity facilitation, and general assistance.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the international community, develop new skills, and meet people from all over the world.

Please note: The event is entirely in English, and proficiency in English is required to participate as a volunteer.
