Community Dining at Kildevæld Kulturcenter – meet new people over good food and a welcoming atmosphere

Every month, Kildevæld Kulturcenter invites you to join one of our two different community dinners – both designed to bring people together around the table for good food, conversation, and a sense of belonging. Whether you’re new in the neighborhood, new in Denmark, or simply looking for a warm and friendly place to meet others, you are welcome here.

Two evenings – two different communities:

• Every Wednesday, we open the doors to our local community and invite everyone who feels like sharing a meal with others. Families, seniors, and anyone who wants to enjoy a friendly dinner and meet new people is welcome.
• Every other Thursday, we host social dining and quiz nights especially for young internationals living, studying, or working in Copenhagen. The vibe is casual and lively, and the quiz adds a fun way to connect across languages and backgrounds.

Want to get involved as a volunteer?

If you’d like to do more than just join the dinner, you can become part of our volunteer team and help create these special evenings. As a host, you help with setting up, welcoming guests, and making sure everyone feels included and comfortable – either at the Wednesday dinners, the Thursday quiz nights, or both.

We’ll make sure you get a proper introduction to the role, and as a volunteer, there is always space for your own ideas on how to make the evenings even better.

Practical information:

• The menu is mainly vegetarian.
• All hosts and volunteers enjoy a shared meal as a thank you for their contribution.
• The dinners take place outside when the weather allows it.
