Volunteer for the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial – and help shape the conversation about the future of architecture

Do you want to be part of an inspiring community and contribute to creating one of the largest architecture events of the year in Copenhagen? Under the theme 'Slow Down,' we are hosting the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial for the first time.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers who want to help create a biennial that invites contemplation, reflection – and slow experiences in the midst of the vibrant city life.

What we do – and where you come in

In September and October 2025, we will host the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial in Copenhagen with a wide range of activities that bring people and ideas together throughout the city. The biennial presents thought-provoking exhibitions, inspiring conversations, a rich film program, performative formats, etc., inviting both professionals and curious citizens into the world of architecture and urban planning.

As a volunteer, you will be an important part of the execution of the various events, where we bring architecture out of the drawing room and into reality – we need you to make it all happen!

Why we do it

We believe that architecture can help create more just, inclusive, and sustainable societies. And that requires many perspectives. That's why we invite you – whether you are a student, a curious citizen, an aspiring architect, or just interested – to join us. Your involvement helps make the biennial alive and relevant.
