About Queertune 

Queertune is a choir festival for all Nordic LGBTQ+ choirs. The first festival was held in Helsinki in 2017 and the second in Stockholm in 2019. In its third edition, Queertune will take place from 6-8 June 2025 in Copenhagen. Read more on our homepage.

Vision

Queertune has a strong vision of sharing the joy of music and singing with the rest of the world. We wish to strengthen the ties between the Nordic countries’ music cultures, and to show that music in the LGBTQ+ community is diverse and has the potential to touch, strengthen and unite.

Become a Queertune-Volunteer

Would you like to help create a colourful, musical, and inclusive festival with more than 500 choir singers from across the Nordic countries? We need dedicated volunteers for a variety of tasks and you can register as a volunteer and choose the shifts you like starting the 21st of April 2025 here on the portal.

As a volunteer, you sign up for the available shifts. A shift is about 5 hours including a one hour break. Each shift counts and you can sign up for as few or many shifts as you would like to. And you can of course listen to all of the festival concerts.

We provide food, drinks, and a great atmosphere. You’ll also receive a Queertune T-shirt and are invited to the festival party after Saturday’s dinner at Scandic Hotel Sydhavn. Remember to sign up for the party under activites starting the 1st of May 2025.

On the 24th of May, we will hold workshops for all volunteers. You can select on of the one-hour workshops on that day under activities. The workshops are a great opportunity to meet the Queertune-team and all the other volunteers. In addition, the workshops introduces to all important things you need to know as a volunteer. You can Those who cannot participate in the workshop will get all relevant information separately from the volunteer coordinator.
